1. Scope
These terms govern the use of the software-as-a-service solution “Omnilex”, provided over the internet by Omnilex AG, Hohlstrasse 186, 8004 Zürich (“Omnilex” or the “provider”). By accessing and using the service you accept these terms in their current version.
2. Service
Omnilex provides cloud-based software that supports users in working on legal questions with AI-assisted suggestions. The service is used through a web-based interface without local installation.
3. Registration and access
A personal login is required. Credentials must be kept confidential and must not be shared with third parties.
4. Rights of use
The provider grants a non-transferable, non-exclusive, time-limited right to use the software for the user’s own lawful business purposes. Use for automated testing or in an abusive manner is prohibited.
5. Availability and maintenance
Omnilex is generally available around the clock. Planned maintenance takes place where possible outside regular business hours (weekdays 07:00–18:00). During these hours an availability of at least 90% is targeted but not guaranteed.
6. Liability and warranty
Use of the software is at the user’s own risk. The provider accepts no liability for the accuracy or legal usability of generated content. The user remains responsible for reviewing, adapting and using all content. The provider’s liability is limited to gross negligence and intent.
7. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection law. See our privacy policy. Data is deleted after the end of the contract unless statutory retention duties apply.
8. Intellectual property
All rights in the software, the content, the models and the generated data remain with the provider. Passing on, reproducing or decompiling the software is prohibited.
9. Term and termination
Use is based on a separate licence agreement, which governs ordinary and extraordinary termination.
10. Final provisions
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction is Zürich, Switzerland.
